Based in Oberhausen of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the company Marx Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH was founded in August 2003 by the engineer Hans-Jürgen Marx when he transferred to this startup the surveying department of his engineer's and surveyor's office founded in 1975.
Marx Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH has many core competences besides the traditional surveying for civil, road, and structural engineering, including for many years surveying services for tunnels, plant, and machines.
In 2004, also planning and project control were adopted into the portfolio. The company is today run under the management of Mrs Marion Baermann and Mr Ansgar Suding, both engineers.
